Update from Hall Green and Springfield Neighbourhood Policing Team: Dear Resident, Here’s a quick round up from myself and the rest of the Hall Green and Springfield Neighbourhood Policing Team. What’s been happening? Sgt Bridgewater and PC Javid have had meetings with local councillors to discuss issues in our area. PC Javid, PCSO Devey and PCSO Hadley attended a children’s Summer Camp at Hall Green Secondary School to tell the children the role of a police officer. We talked about “Stranger Danger” and to took any questions the children had. A great time was had by all!Extra patrols have been taken place around Swanhurst Park to control possible ASB around the attending fair.Fireworks have been reported at Swanshurst Park. They’re BANNED in public spaces, and on private property can only be used between 11pm–7am. Due to the dry conditions, please avoid using fireworks altogether. #communitysafety Targeted patrols in and around Sparkhill Park are still taking place and continuing.We are pleased to say that we have two new members to Hall Green Street Watch Groups. If you are interested in joining you can do through WMNOWThere has been an increase of burglaries during the hot weather. Please be mindful regarding open windows. Please close them when you leave the house or in other parts of your home. We will continue working closely with the community and partner organisations to tackle local issues and provide reassurance across the neighbourhood.
